First of several transmissions on the ‘Home of Cycling’ follows World Championship Road Race
British Eurosport will broadcast highlights of this year’s An Post Rás na mBan this coming Saturday, 26th September, at 9.30pm.
The half-hour show will feature highlights of all six stages in Ireland’s premier stage race for women which took place over five days in County Clare earlier this month.
The event was won by Germany’s Stephanie Pohl who used it as her final tune up race for the World Road Race Championships in Richmond, Virginia, USA.
Transmission time of the British Eurosport broadcast is approximate as the race will immediately follow the live coverage of the Women’s Elite Road Race in Richmond where Pohl will be an integral member of the German squad.
The satellite channel, which is available in over 14 million homes throughout Ireland and the UK, has scheduled six further transmissions of the Rás na mBan show in the next four weeks.
