An Post Rás na mBan will be headquartered at the Springhill Court Hotel in Kilkenny City this year. The popular hotel and spa resort on the Waterford Road in Kilkenny City will be home to the administration of Ireland’s top women’s bike race from September 7th to 11th next while a number of the event’s stages will embark from the hotel.
The Springhill Court Hotel is no stranger to top bike race action having played host to competitors from the men’s An Post Rás at the conclusion of stage one of the 2012 event.
The hotel is just over two and a half kilometres from the world famous Kilkenny Castle close to the heart of this thriving tourist hub. An Post Rás na mBan is moving to County of Kilkenny in south Leinster for the first time after six years in Munster.
The 11th running of Ireland’s top bike race will feature five days of top racing action centred on the famous medieval city which lies at the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East cultural experience.
