Top sports broadcaster British Eurosport has confirmed that it will again show highlights of Ireland’s top international stage race for women, An Post Rás na mBan.

It is the second successive year that British Eurosport will air action from the event which will feature riders from 14 nations competing for 20 teams in County Clare on Munster’s scenic Atlantic Coast.

The six-stage, five-day event will be shot and edited into a half hour show to be aired for the first time on October 5th in support of coverage of the Tour of Lombardy World Tour race.

British Eurosport is the Home of Cycling, broadcasting over 30 events live including all three Grand Tours: the Tour de France, the Vuelta a Espana and the Giro d’Italia throughout the season.

British Eurosport Managing Director David Kerr said, “We are delighted to bring coverage of Rás na mBan to our viewers again. Cycling is a key sport for the channel and continues to grow in popularity.”

British Eurosport is available on BT TV, Sky, Virgin Media and UPC Ireland.
