Teams and riders from three continents are among the entries received by race organsiners as the deadline approaches for entries to An Post Rás na mBan 2015.

Entries close on Monday week, 10th August, with numbers up on last year to this point ahead of the tenth edition of Ireland’s top international stage race for women.

Race organiser Valerie Considine reports a steady flow of team entries for the event with demand from international squads already ahead of target.

“It’s encouraging to see that entries are up on last year to this point and that teams seem very organised and committed this year. International teams have confirmed entries and organised their travel and accommodation well ahead of time and we’ll have a number of brand new squads in Ennis on September ninth.

Domestic teams are often a little slower to confirm their entries but we’ve had strong local interest this year and we’ll have teams and riders from all four provinces on the start line.”
