Kilkenny Looks Forward to An Post Rás na mBan

Ahead of the final deadline for entries to An Post Rás na mBan 2017, Irish national road race champion Lydia Boylan travelled to Kilkenny to meet David Fitzgerald, Cathaoirleach of Kilkenny County Council, at Kilkenny Castle to announce details of this year’s event which gets under way in Kilkenny on Wednesday 6^th September.  

Boylan, who finished runner-up to Rikke Lønne (Team Crescent DARE) in the 2016 edition and has previously finished third in the event, will be returning with her WNT Team in September for another tilt at the top step of the podium.
